I start by creating a site map and basic wireframes. I then produce high fidelity wireframes using Adobe XD to help my clients visualize and navigate a “real” site prior to development. I find this to be easy to modify and share with clients. Often times, a client will opt to test the site with consumers at this stage. This is called a Usability Study. (My consumer research background is really helpful at this stage.) Once we are ready to build the actual site, I typically utilize WordPress (or Shopify) using Elementor or Divi page builders. I find this provides my clients with the flexibility of thousands of prebuilt plugins that provide great functionality and stability, at a reasonable cost. While I create their site I am simultaneously building in natural SEO. It is typical that I develop all graphics for the sites I build. However, I am also comfortable working with other designers when directed by a client.
